Original Victorian Cannon for sale, offered on behalf of a deceased estate.
Rare antique British Ordinance 16lb rifled muzzle loading cannon from the early 1870’s.
The breech with Victorian Cypher, broad arrow marking and weight 12-0-15, the trunnion dated 1872, Iron barrel, overall length 72″, bore 3.6″ rifled with 3 deep grooves, in excellent condition.
Also included is a period British carriage for renovation – see last picture, which could be adapted to take the barrel, further details listed separately.
