German MG34 7.92 lmg of WW2. This example is DOT makers code, made under licence in Czechoslovakia and dated 1945, so very late war production. It has many matching numbers and is presently de-activated to the former UK specification with full moving action.
This MG was one of the consignment that was bought into the UK in around 2008 from war storage in the Ukrainian salt mines (the ambient temperature within the mines created and ideal storage location), and was the last of the German WW2 equipment to come from the former Soviet Union.
