Description
Bren .303 lmg dated 1940 made by Enfield with Kings Crown and dovetail sight bracket for the optical sight. In very good condition, crisp markings, de-activated to the latest Eu/UK spec with moving slide, trigger, detachable magazine. It has the correct early stock, bipod with extendable legs, early barrel with fluted flash hider, and early butt stock with facility for the flip over . There are matching numbers to upper and lower receiver, barrel release catch.
These “Kings Crown” Brens are historically important and rare to find, they were issued to the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) when they were deployed to France in 1939/1940 and many were subsequently abandoned at Dunkirk during the evacuation.
