BRNO made ZGB. These weapons were the forerunner of the Bren, made in Czechlosvakia by BRNO in 1937 and are rare to find
This example was one of a batch that came to UK in 2008/9 when the Irish Army disposed of their obsolete stocks of Bren Mk3, included in the consignment were approx. 50 of the ZGB which had at some point been used for drill purposes, hence the DP markings
In very good condition, de-activated to the latest Eu/UK spec with moving slide, trigger, detachable magazine. It has the correct BRNO stock, 1937 dated barrel, bipod with extendable legs, early barrel with fluted flash hider, and also has the original butt cup with facility for the”flip over”. The numbers to receiver, barrel and barrel release all match
