Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) magazine belt, dated 1918
Excellent condition, complete with metal cup for the rifle butt and twin .45 mag pouches.

The BAR belt was developed for use in WW1 for the very short lived “Walk & Fire” policy, in which the user was expected to walk towards enemy lines with the butt of the BAR held in the steel cup, and would fire a single shot with each footstep.
